The Timber Loft
Ketoloco turns 20 and we’re coming home.
The celebration lands at The Timberloft, inside Shoreditch’s legendary Light Bar - a space woven deep into London’s dance music story. Intimate, raw and built for proper sessions, The Timberloft was recently installed with the original Martin Audio sound system from Room 2 at fabric. The space famously hosted the London editions of David Mancuso’s Loft Party, Secretsundaze and was Ketoloco’s home for five years in the 2010s. This is a homecoming.
We’re very happy to announce Mella Dee as our headliner. Known for shaping his own sound; blending dubby textures, minimal grooves and warped drops across his UK minimal releases. He’s become a mainstay at the UK editions of the SlapFunk label parties and as a fellow Yorkshire lad, it feels only right to have him with us for this special one.
Ketoloco co-founders Chris Halliday and Eddy Osborne step up for a special birthday set, joined by Leeds legend, long-time Mint Club promoter and Dirty Disco co-founder Foz. We’re also welcoming Jive Talk and Gottwood regular Amy Cutter to complete the lineup.
Ketoloco’s story began as an illegal afterparty in the basement of a student house in Leeds. Within a matter of months, that word-of-mouth energy secured a residency at the city’s iconic Back To Basics nightclub, cementing its reputation for sweat-drenched, anything-goes sessions. From there, the movement took flight to Ibiza, where the crew went on to help launch the legendary Zoo Project, helping shape a new era of free-spirited island culture. What started as a DIY basement rave grew into an international underground institution.
Twenty years deep and still doing it for the right reasons.
