Hundred Heads comes to Peckham for one! night! only!* If you know you know, but if you don’t we’re a 200-cap DIY music festival that’s taken place in South Wales since 2019, where we bring together a community of wholesome hedonists for 3 days and nights of live karaoke, home-cooked vegan meals, made-up pagan rituals and weirdo dancefloor eclecticism, and on April 25th we’re bringing some of that energy to Vespers for our London debut.
If you’re Head-curious and have heard about us on the grapevine, this is the perfect opportunity to come and get a taste of what you can expect come July, and if you’re a seasoned stalwart then it’s time to return to the fold… Especially as, in the spirit of the festival (tickets at £105/unwaged subsidised tickets at £65), we’re keeping ticket prices at the low low low price of £5.
*unless we do another one, which we might
We’ll have a few of last years’ DJs bringing the joy on the night:
Am Ubhi - Am kicks us off on the night with dubwise meanderings around the less-visited corners of British music.
LRN - Queercom regular LRN provides untrammelled energy via super-charged reggaeton, soca, funk and techy fast-forward house.
Midnight Mary - If you want whacked-out post-industrial electro-inflected sludge (it’s all we want at 100HQ) nobody does it better. Music for dancefloors in decline.
Sarjan - The Expert Death resident skips across bpms, transmitting hypnotic mind-and-body music from a cosmic elsewhere. It’s also his birthday!
