About this event

genre[fatigue] is an algorthmic audio visual label and event brand with a roster of cutting edge artists working adjacent to other scenes. Attempting to define a multi-genre algorithmic audio visual artist in a club setting.

genre[fatigue] was created by m-onz who previously founded and created the infamous fake[dac~] events. genre[fatigue] comes as a complete evolution and replacement at it's new home at M.O.T. The patches, code and inner workings of genre[fatigue] are all in the open and those that are interested can learn to make algorithmic audio visuals with open source tools.

The second genre[fatigue] event will include enhanced AV with bright and crisp visuals projection mapped on each long wall of MOT. Causing the audience to look inwards and creating a truly immersive audio visual experience.

Expect danceable multi-genre music like: drum and bass, grime, dubstep, future bass, house throughout with no harsh noise, experimental or ambient music.

Featuring the formidable chris speed visuals:

Chris Speed Visuals (CSV) is a London-based audiovisual artist, DJ and educator exploring real-time technologies to breaking point. His dark underground sound comes from teens spent immersed in dingy East London club nights and online during the Witch House / Cloud Rap golden eras. CSV’s music crosses genre boundaries by incorporating elements from Grime to Hyperpop as well as Glitch Music. For this he utilises hardware synthesisers and custom algorithmic tools to produce boundary-pushing results.
