May 23 sees Gaffe open both courtyard and warehouse for a full day to night session built around movement between spaces, moods and tempos.
Outside in the courtyard, Luca & Leo set the tone on home ground before handing over to a rare extended session from Cabanne. A defining figure in French minimal and long associated with the Yoyaku universe, Cabanne’s deeply reduced, playful and hypnotic approach is best experienced with time to stretch properly.
Running alongside this, the warehouse hosts an ambient programme for International Synthesiser Day, led by Infinite Monkeys live improvisation. Expect spontaneous electronics, modular drift and a softer listening space that offers a welcome counterpoint to the movement outside.
As evening folds in, focus shifts fully to the main room for the night session.
Adi opens with patient selections and dance-led instincts, setting the room with intent before Que Sakamoto brings his unmistakable blend of machine soul, eccentric groove and emotional leftfield house. Nina Yamada follows with sharp control and fluid movement through percussive rhythm and stripped-back pressure, before Annyrock drives things deeper with the kind of direct, high-energy precision that thrives in late hours.
