What to expect:
We'd like to recreate the welcoming atmosphere of a rural Christmas Eve, where the folk come together to share their love for music and one another, passing on cherished traditions, and delighting in the simple joys of a community gathering.
How you may contribute:
Practice any of the carols on the list (we may hold a rehearsal mid-December if we manage to find a space)
Prepare a favourite carol you'd like to sing (one that’s not already on the list)
Wrap up warm (wear your favourite jumper, woolly hat, mittens, etc.)
Bring an acoustic instrument you’d enjoy playing along with
Hold a flameless LED tealight candle
Share small Christmas treats
