Our first season comes to an end with a special party - Brama & Friends, as our residents invite three DJs who mean a lot to them to spin b2b. And on our Chillout Boat, our favourite downtempo trio DJ b2b all night long.
First up is Dimensions head honcho, and one of the best house DJs in the biz: ol’ blue eyes himself, Hamish Cole. From founding Butter Side Up, to booking Wire, and taking Dimensions Festival into the stratosphere - Hamish has pulled the strings behind many of your fave dance music institutions in the past 15 years. On 23rd May, he debuts at Brama b2b our co-founder & his regular squeeze, Toby.
He’s joined by a modern London music icon, Shy One. From her legendary NTS show, to her associations with bruk royalty Selectors Assemble and Touching Bass, Shy links the past and future of her home city’s musical heritage like few else. As a DJ, she’s capable of playing just about anything, but always with a tangible warmth and groove. She partners up with our in-house deep house maestro, Seb Odyssey.
Finally, we invite multi-disciplinary DJ and sound healer, Maybe Laura. Equally at home blending oddball house and deep electro as spinning restorative ambience in tranquil settings, Laura is a fixture of tasteful London clubs, and consistently one of our favourite DJs at Houghton. She warms the floor b2b our wonderful resident Jade Seatle.
Meanwhile on our Chillout Boat, we welcome an All Night Long session from Lazy Susan, aka downtempo maestros 2Stepbec, Zeus and Oliver.r. If you aren't careful, you’ll spend your whole Brama on our Boat.
