We’re back at Eiger Studios this September and we’re bringing our dear friends from Sqweez!, the LGBTQ collective from Bucharest, up north with us. Years of shared values and joint visions across Bucharest, Manchester and Leeds have built something real, and this time it lands back at home.
Gloria Rose. Three words: dynamic, tasteful, seamless. The London-based DJ and producer is known for bold, powerful sets at European clubs like Tresor and Club Raum, building a reputation for hypnotic, forward-thinking grooves that’s earned her a residency at FOLD. We can’t wait to welcome her to Leeds.
Speaking of Leeds, this lineup wouldn’t be complete without the city’s best-kept secret, Michael Upson, founder and DJ of Love Muscle, the formidable queer club night with 10 years under its belt. Michael is a true tastemaker, their depth shows in their selections and their ability to hold a room. Widely known for their eclectic, broad understanding of music, it’s their rare techno-only sets that carry a distinctive punk edge, the kind that takes you back in time. Serious treat incoming.
Up next, Nina Pixina, resident and co-curator of Bluparti, and a resident at Sqweez! brings her ethereal, fast-paced rhythms to Leeds. Known for crafting a story through emotion and sensuality in her sets, she’s earned bookings at FOLD, Drumsheds and The Cause. Strong instincts pull her towards power and immersion. Watch out!
Completing the bill: resident and co-founder of Sqweez!, FAUST. A talented DJ who has worked hard in building and championing an inclusive underground culture in Bucharest. Known for his powerful sets moving through different shades of techno and trance. Played at venues like The DBA in Manchester and EXIL in Zürich, alongside two South America tours and a livestream for HÖR Berlin, to name a few.
