Glasgow musician and producer Selkie launches her debut EP, inWaves, with a special live performance at The Glad Cafe.
Built around electric guitar, voice and atmospheric sound design, Selkie’s spacious music moves between ambient pop, electronic folk and experimental songwriting. Her voice acts as both a melodic and textural presence.
inWaves explores staying open inside uncertainty, noticing beauty while still within it, and allowing things to arrive, disappear and return without forcing them into shape.
For this intimate launch concert, Selkie will perform a 60-minute set, bringing all six songs from the EP together with other released and unreleased music.
inWaves is released on 28 August.
