Random spaces. Random souls. Random Rhythms.
Community parties to celebrate Glasgow's most unique spaces through dance and house music.
House, deep-house, disco. Lovely people. Never the same party but always the same energy.
For this 2nd edition of Random Rhythms, we are turning what used to be a Savings Bank, then poker club, into a dancefloor. Come dance somewhere special.
About the venue : Construction of the current premises began in 1888 with the vision of transforming a simple hatters shop into a radical new savings bank that would work to put pennies back into the pockets of Glasgow’s working class. The listed Victorian building features a host of architectural curiosities from a lost Glasgow. After a change in ownership the bank went on to become a raucous Greek restaurant, then a notorious poker den, each iteration leaving its unique mark on the space.
Last entry 9pm.
No photo policy. Random Rhythms strive to offer an immersive, one-time only experience that is free from phone distractions and focused on human connection, feeling the music and the uniqueness of a space.
