As part of Merchant City Festival, this free DJ programme brings together a diverse group of emerging artists whose practices span club culture, live performance and experimental sound.
Featuring CS Islay, BOBO, Gem Kinley, Birthquake, Adéráyọ̀ and Amna Eldi, the programme explores everything from disco, Latin, groove and early electronic music to UK garage, breaks, pop, noise, acid, Balearic and global club sounds. Across radio, nightlife and performance, these artists embrace eclectic selection, genre-defying approaches and music as a space for connection, storytelling and exploration.
Whether drawing on queer dancefloor histories, sounds that transcend borders, experimental performance, or influences from underrepresented musical traditions, each artist brings a unique perspective while sharing a commitment to curiosity, creativity and community. Participants will gain insight from a new generation of selectors helping shape Glasgow's vibrant and ever-evolving musical landscape.
