Berkeley Suite
237 North Street
This is a special one - we’re celebrating Hot Towel’s 10th birthday with a party in the Berkeley Suite on Saturday 22nd August.
We’re joined by Gigi Testa (Rush Hour/World Peace Music) making his Scottish debut, as well as hosting a special performance from Moira Salt. Gigi is the resident DJ at the incredible Basic Club in Napoli, in the shadow of Vesuvius. We were lucky enough to visit last summer and Gigi’s set blew us away! We’re really excited to be hosting him here in Glasgow.
We’re also throwing a (free to attend) pre-party next door in Chinaski’s, with guest DJs JPang, Call Guy, Amphora B2B T.D. Slider, Jules B2B Alice, poetry from Meredith MacLeod Davidson, and party food from the Chinaski’s kitchen.
Hopefully see you there!

Gigi Testa channels his vast musical taste and knowledge in his own music.
Influenced by different cultures and musical styles, his djing incorporates elements which gravitate around worldwide rhythms and electronic experimental sounds.
The same versatility is also reflected in his music productions, releasing music on Rush Hour label with the Ep “Jinja” and the 4 tracker “Esoteric Paradise”and the latest “Sichuan”,establishing a solid connection with the Amsterdam label/store.
He has released music on Compost Records and on his own World Peace Music having Ron Trent remixing his track “Saudade For Salvador”.
These recent music projects take his self-proclaimed world music meets Club Music approach in a kaleidoscopic new direction without any restrictions or categories.
