Languishing in the depths of the seductive underworld of EBM, faux naïf champions the more obscure tones of dance music. Rooted in goth, darkwave, synth, body music, post-punk and new beat - leaning into the sounds of techno and electro at the same time, the sound of faux naïf stems from the anarchistic attitude aligned with 80s-born genres.

Martyn Reid and Katie Shannon will play together a responsive to the feeling collection of cold wave, minimal synth, electro, industrial, noise et al as A Short History Of Decay. MR is a musician from Gateshead who plays in solo noise project Depletion and synth pop duo Marina Zispin and runs analogue tape label Dark Passage. KS is an artist who works in performance and programming, she organises events with TLC23, Rebi and formerly So Low and label Domestic Exile. She hosts a resident show on NTS radio.
