The Caley Bar
On the 9th September, The Caley Bar hosts the next edition of Toki-O Nights, a free to attend listening bar series inspired by Japan’s kissaten culture.
Up next is Anu. Anu is a DJ and illustrator based in London. When not ushering in the dance, her work as wicked radio host is unparalleled, with shows for NTS, Rinse, BCR & Balamii, bringing a seamless colourful palette of music ranging from nostalgic Bollywood soundtracks, new age walls of ambience, early Hosono and party tunes. With a supremely varied collection and sensibility, she always brings a smile to the dancers faces.
With hi-fi sound from Technics and Toki Highballs served throughout the evening, the event channels the slower, more intentional atmosphere of Japanese listening bar culture.
