Returning for yet another month, Tierhaus continues to develop a new clubbing space for Edinburgh, a bit different from the status quo. Inspired by 90s electronic music culture, Tierhaus aims to bring the communal spirit of 90s rave and dance music culture into 2026.
To coincide with Edinburgh pride, we’ve got some exciting stuff planned. There'll be celebrations across Summerhall and The Royal Dick pub throughout the day leading into the party. House and techno owe so much of their history to LGBTQ+ communities and spaces, and we’re excited to honour that legacy while bringing together a lineup of some of Edinburgh‘s best selectors.
JacobJR will be joining us to deliver a tribute to Trade, London’s legendary 90s gay club that became the cradle of the UK Hard House scene. Nine years behind the decks, jacobJR has played nights across Edinburgh including Nektar, Arcadia and Konversion, as well as large-scale events in London and New Zealand’s largest gay night, Frisky. Known for 140bpm+ sets built around rolling basslines and sexy vocals, his sound moves between high-energy melodic house, groovy breaks and hypnotic techno. RIP Tony De Vit.
Inspired by the pioneering spirit of Detroit techno, Glasgow-based DJ/selector Kyle Scott combines deep, progressive house with driving underground techno cuts. With a carefully curated style and track selection through deep vinyl digs, he aims to keep focus on the dance floor, having the crowd moving and immersed in the sound.
Zohra is known for genre-fluid dancefloor sets, exploring a range of electronic sounds, from minimal house to south asian dance, techno and garage. At Tierhaus, Zohra will explore the stranger side of 90s rave history, moving through electro, acid and house with bass heavy rhythms, infectious grooves and unexpected dancefloor moments.
Tierhaus is a safe space. We will not tolerate any form of discrimination. If you feel uncomfortable or notice an unpleasant situation, do not hesitate to contact our team.
