A love letter to Caribbean sounds and culture, Talawa Mama is a night for Soca and Dancehall lovers and community. Expect some old and new school tunes, seasoned with some edits and other caribbean genres, accompanied by a light bite to eat (which yes, is included in your ticket).
This installment we're inviting two DJs to represent for their Caribbean heritage with saparilla to warm-up the decks and makaya returning for a b2b with Ria! Caribbean Parlour will be catering this one too with a sweet selection of vegan food.
Profits from this event will go towards a charity or fundraiser supporting island(s) in the Caribbean.
This is a small venue with limited tickets available as an fyi! There is also no step free access to the entrance - entry to the venue is down a single set of stairs.
