You are invited down to the basement for a night of jazz orientated club sounds from esteemed DJ, producer and label-owner Rebecca Vasmant who's abundnat energy and passion for the music never fails to translare to th dancefloor.
The “mother” of the Glasgow new jazz scene in many ways, through her staunch support for the many players and bands who have come through recently, producer of 2 stunning albums featuring many if these personel, Rebecca Vasmant defies easy catergorisation in the internet age of dance music. Her sets can span spiritual jazz, broken beat, house, disco and techno – and are always delivered with an energy and vibrancy that penetrates heart of the dancefloor.
Rebecca has been playing at Kelburn since our early days, and we are always happy when shje is on the decks!
On support is Kelburn programmer and jazz sounds enthiusiast Chris Astrojazz.
Expect plenty of swing and plenty of hot licks in the club!
