A grassroots gig at The Thunderbolt, Bristol, hosted by POLYGAZE. Join us on Friday 1st May for an evening of alternative rock & punk grassroots music from the likes of;
Jed and the Microwave
Defrosted Pub Rock, Yacht Rock and Arena Rock from the dark ages. Used to be big in Japan, but lost a few stone since. Trying out old and new material in small venues so they can get gigs in even smaller venues.
The Financial Year
Abstract, Bristolian post-punk, scrangely-noiseniks. Featuring members of Falling Stacks and You Need Ghosts, in July 2024 they put out the single THANK you! CATS!!, featuring tracks High Prey Drive, Assist The Assist, and Triple Echo. Expect angular rhythms and impressionistic guitars.
Go Crow Go
Go Crow Go started as a two person recording project, developing into a full band as we realised that we can't play everything at once. We play narrative driven, sing along songs born out of a shared love of sad country drinking songs, and being elbowed in the face at punk gigs.
POLYGAZE
A Bristol based event company that hosts live music events in support of grassroots bands, artists and venues
