Auntie Flo (live w/ full band)
& Moncaya (live)
Bank Holiday Friday (1st May), 7pm til 10pm.
Award-winning DJ, music producer and live performer Brian d’Souza aka Auntie Flo performs with a full live band with a talented group of musicians from around the world to perform tracks spanning five acclaimed albums worth of material.
The band has closed the main stage of festivals such as Gilles Peterson’s We Out Here as well as sell out shows at the likes of London’s renowned Jazz Cafe. Expect free-flowing tastings of live percussion, jazz-tinged rhythms, vintage synths, environmental sounds from all over the world with a 4/4 backbone and house music poise which is perfect for both live gig intimacy and the club alike.
Moncaya is a singer-songwriter and composer born in Spain and currently based in Mexico City, whose creations traverse multiple genres, such as indie, trad folk, electronic and experimental. Moncaya is also in Auntie Flo's live band, we look forward to hearing her in both projects.
