The Actors Trans Pride Weekender presents The Garden Brides
A heteropessismist horror comedy - The Garden Brides is the story of Teresa - a lonely housewife in a small english village who becomes mysteriously enamoured by her neighbour’s new garden gnome. She starts seeing it in strange dreams that become more passionate and… sensual? She forms an uneasy alliance with Catherine, another housewife who has also been drawn to the same lawn ornament. A deeper and more confusing connection builds between the two women as they fall deeper into their psychosexual gnome cult. A surreal tale of otherworldly desire written by and starring punk rock cabaret icon Charlie Wood.
