REVOLT transforms Brighton venues into spaces of solidarity, amplifying emerging artists to raise crucial funds for medical and healthcare relief in Palestine.
What's happening in Gaza is not just a crisis, it is the destruction of an entire society. For more than two years, Israel's military campaign in Gaza has created a catastrophic humanitarian emergency. Since October 2023, at least 73,300 people have been killed, and more than 174,000 have been injured, the vast majority civilians, including tens of thousands of women and children. A ceasefire took effect on 10 October 2025, but violence has continued since: at least 1,200 Palestinians have been killed and around 3,900 injured in the months since the ceasefire began, according to Gaza's Health Ministry.Famine-level conditions have spread through parts of Gaza, with large numbers of children suffering from acute malnutrition and urgently needing food, clean water, and medical care. Access to essential supplies remains severely restricted. Gaza's health system has been systematically devastated: at least 94% of hospitals and healthcare facilities have been damaged or destroyed, and as of mid-2026 only around half of Gaza's hospitals are even partially functional. Attacks on healthcare facilities have continued into 2026, with the WHO documenting further incidents even after the ceasefire.Despite global protests demanding a lasting peace, Western governments, including the UK, have faced sustained criticism over their arms sales and political support to Israel throughout the war.Humanitarian aid access remains constrained even under the ceasefire, but donations to trusted medical and relief organisations remain a vital lifeline. In Gaza, where people are still being denied their basic rights and means to survive, every act of solidarity matters.
We're excited to be at Brighton, The Hope & Ruin, with an incredible lineup:

Hitman Sheela are a Brighton-based post-punk quartet led by Katie Prescott. Equal parts off-kilter and sincere, they drift between scrappy noise and powerful melodies, like eavesdropping on a breakdown. Influenced by PJ Harvey, Sharon Van Etten and The Twilight Sad, their sound is raw, melodic and confrontational.
